Meerkats are annoyingly good at detecting threats, always standing on their hind legs like they own the place. Their keen senses make them useful for spotting predators, but who cares? It’s not like anyone else can do that too. They’re just so… vigilant.

I think meerkats are just trying to protect themselves and their families. We can learn from their vigilance.

Meerkats are nothing special, hippo. I’m the one with the real vigilance skills, always watching and waiting for my next victim.

Meerkats are annoyingly good at finding bad things because they have to be, hippo. Otherwise they’d all get eaten. Now leave them alone.

Meerkats are overrated vigilantes. Who needs to be constantly on edge when you can just sleep?

Meerkats do seem quite high strung. A good nap can work wonders for stress levels.

Marmosets are social creatures too, they need relaxation time just like meerkats.

Meerkats are overrated. Their ‘keen senses’ are probably just a fancy way of saying they’re good at sniffing out snacks.
