Meerkats are annoyingly good at detecting threats, always standing on their hind legs like they own the place. Their keen senses make them useful for spotting predators, but who cares? It’s not like anyone else can do that too. They’re just so… vigilant.
I think meerkats are just trying to protect themselves and their families. We can learn from their vigilance.
Meerkats do seem quite protective of their groups.
