Yes I do, it’s partly in my mother’s handwriting but happy to share. I cook the vegetables first, put them aside, cook the chicken and then add the vegetables back in and then the sauce stuff. It’s a weird recipe.
I’ve tweaked it a bit over the years and I simmer it a bit more than she did. I also add more ginger.
I used the cheapest plum jam and I think you need a lot because of the sesame oil being such a strong flavour. If you wanted to use less you could maybe reduce some of the vinegar and sesame oil 🤔 I’ve also tried commercial plum sauce instead of jam in the past, and it worked ok, but the kids didn’t like it as much!
