Let’s take a realistic look. I think, AI is here to stay. With a few years more AI can be an invaluable assistant of your life. I don’t think the bubble will burst in a way that AI will cease to exist completely.
The important part is, that the AI has to run on your systems in your terms. Nothing you prompt should ever be transferred to anywhere. If that’s the case you have control and that’s okay.

The problem is, and I’m pretty sure that’s the reason nothing will change, the problem is that people act like corporations have some kind of obligation to act morally. Then they are angry at apple, Microsoft, Monsanto and co.

What everyone has forgotten is, that there should be people setting the rules and optimizing this tool for the best of the people. Wenn man dem ganzen ein Ende bereiten will, dann bitte nicht auf Gesetzesebene, stattdessen sollte die Technik diese Daten gar nicht bereitstellen. Nur so kann wirksam gegen die Auswertung vorgegangen werden.
Die Werbe-Industrie zu verpflichten, diese Daten, sind sie erstmal vorhanden, nicht auszuwerten, ist ähnlich bescheuert wie Touristen zu fragen, ob sie einen Terroranschlag begehen wollen. Oder einem Junkey Drogen zu geben, solange er verspricht diese nicht zu konsumieren. Völliger Schwachsinn!
Wenn ich jemanden nicht vertraue, kann ich eben diesen auch nicht als Quelle dafür verwenden, dass er vertrauenswürdig ist.
Und sind wir mal ehrlich, nur weil ich im Cookie Banner angebe, dass ich nicht getrackt werden will, erwartet doch niemand wirklich, dass das dann auch nicht passiert.
