It is definitely a good album. Mixing is a very subtle art and a good mix can be what separates a good album from an absolute masterpiece.
You might be able to notice what I mean in La Rumba Del Perdon. Silvia Perez Cruz is a treasure, but her voice is softer and very personal. Rosalia is HUGE and sharp and loud. They are both amazing in their own way. Unfortunately the producer treated them as if almost equal things so you end mentally pulling back from Rosalia while simultaneously struggling to grasp Silvia Perez Cruz. You hear them both, but neither as they should be heard.
Again, good album. It’s just the mix that’s a bit off IMO.
