Whats everybody doing for dinner tonight?
Lasagna today! Prepped it last night with the salmon dinner we had…it’s always better the next day.
Ah! Made lasagna last week for the first time, turned out pretty dry in the end though.
Oh! I’m late. Sticky hot Chinese beef. Don’t know if it has a proper name. Orange peel, star anise etc.

Unfortunately I cheated and used a Pataks jar I got on special 😔but I added a good squirt of sriracha and some fresh mangoes the kids didn’t eat, plus a can of coconut milk to make it go further. It turned out nice, everyone liked it.
Be lying if I hadn’t reached for the jar on more than one occasion… 😅 Sounds like delicious additions though.
Getting into curries lately, I’ll try to track down a straightforward recipe.
Ah man, Pataks is the way to go! I love their basic bitch butter chicken jar, thats my go to. Although the last couple times we’ve done a salt reduced recipe.
It’'ll be the last of the roast lamb, and morrocan roast veges in my house tonight. Once the kids are down, maybe a sneaky wine ;)
