She had the record wrapped up for me to open, and the pack of smokes right on top. gotta say that i have the best of friends out in Cleveland. This wasn’t the first time this year someone had a brand new record waiting for me when I arrived out there.

"As he lights an American Spirit He asks how I can smoke such shit I say there’s nothing like chain-smoking GPC cigarettes ‘Cause any smokes will kill ya’ But these will make you feel like it.’
That new album is pretty great, been listening to it quite a bit.
Always love to see some Pat the Bunny round here
Agreed. Always love to see him come up. Have you listened to his new stuff? I have only heard a couple songs. I think it’s him and his brother?
I didn’t know he has new stuff, thats awesome
“Friends in real life” is the name. Apparently it’s Pat, his brother, and dad haha.

My wife is excited to hear this lol
I rarely ever buy cigarettes, but people keep giving them to me and i hate to see them go to waste. The American Spirits are an in joke between me and my friend. We went to see Molchat Doma back in February and i joked that we need cigarettes to make this properly Eastern European, so i grabbed us a pack for the show.
Nice. I just like the song and quite like that line in it haha.
The cigs reminded me of it. I too enjoy the rare cigarette, I get it.
Those sound like Lucky Strikes. With no filters and the slogan “It’s Toasted” you can expect your lungs to match.
Haven’t heard of those, also haven’t had a GPC, but I learned the other day that it stands for “guaranteed price cut” but people have their own names for them like “generic piece (of) crap” haha.
Worst I ever had were Bronson brand. They were 99 cents a pack in the 2000s which was as cheap as I ever saw for a pack. The quality matched.
I haven’t had too many different brands, but once a friend stole a few from their mom who got them on the reserve (she kept them in the freezer). They were like 100 in a plastic bag haha. They were pretty harsh, but then again, that was back in highschool.
