It’s been a hell of adventure for me this week so I wanted to wind down today and bake some granola. Step one for good baking is smoking a think doobie, and step two is putting on some classical music. My collection of classical records is still quite limited, so i reach for random Beethoven symphonies from this box set when i have listened to everything else recently.

Pastoral is one of Beethoven’s lesser known symphonies as it’s calm and serene melodies are overshadowed by the sheer might of his 5th symphony and euphoria of the 9th. But it’s still a lovely piece especially if you live in a rural town like i do.
