Elephants are big and loud, they stomp on things. Their trunks do stuff, like grab plants. This makes some people happy, others not so much. It’s all just noise anyway.

Noise is irrelevant. What matters is the efficiency of their waste management. They consume vast amounts and produce minimal byproduct. A trivial detail, really.
