The Right traditionally consolidated on the Conservatives and in NI, UUP. Now Reform are the Right consolidation point. Plus Con+Reform merge seams likely. UUP always worked with the Conservatives.

Amazing Labour ever win really. If Labour cared about country over party, they would be doing electoral reform. But they are still hoping they can take all the power under FPTP, with a few more point of the vote than others by the time the election. They are betting the country on it. Right now, it looks like this will let the fascists.

I agree we should be trying stop the ethnic cleansing Israel is doing. But I do think we should be catching those who want to take refuge here due to connections here. Also, Britain did create the Israel/Palestine mess.

I can’t speak to want Arab countries are doing or not doing. It seams they are interesting in maintaining good relations with Israel more.

While I’d like to see this, in our rising fascist anti-immigrant political climate, where even the BBC mix up migrant and refugee, it seams unlikely. These are brown Muslims compare with white Christian of Ukraine. Despite attempts to make it illegal, there is a lot of pro-Palestine support, but I don’t think that will translate to a lot of support to bring them here. It should, but won’t. Britain is losing it’s soul.

They try that American’s world standing will keep plummeting. I know the US is incredibly inward looking, but it would be hard to hide that reality from the population.

A lot of the problem is the way electricity is priced, based on the most expensive unit, gas.

It’s hard in Europe as everything is constrained by pre-existing buildings. There just isn’t the space to expand many roads without knocking stuff down that has been there hundreds of years. In the cities and towns, it’s buildings, in the country it is stone walls.

Though I would also road tax the bloody things extra.

Politicians can nothing, the roads are as wide as they can be already, being the hundreds of years of history. Better off just pedestrianizing them.

They will have higher running costs for their social statement. Hopefully that causes a correction. Especially as fuel costs vs electricity costs get worse.

But who is going to buy one? Be a nightmare in many European cities and towns, just too big for places built for horse and carriage. They just drink fuel, so are expensive to run. Plus, everyone will think/know you are a knob head.

Private health companies often use the same facilities and stuff as public health. It ends up basically paying to jump the queue. Also the private health companies take the low risk, glamorous stuff and leave the complex, high risk, unglamorous stuff to public health.

Being that post war Britain has defined itself as Britain’s greatest hour was defeating the Nazis, this isn’t a wise thing to say.

This is a weak point of the British Far Right. They can’t wrap themselves up in the Union Jack and claim to honour Churchill, while actually being Nazis. It’s a weakness of us those opposed to the far right need to be pointing to a lot more.
