Ooh, this is fun when paired with EA’s anti cheating software being embedded in the kernel. Surely a foreign power like Saudi Arabia gaining kernel level access to kids computers will be taken as a serious national security concern, just like TikTok was. Right?
Edit: Shit, I ate the onion…
Edit 2: … or did I?
While I think the shirt is funny and should be worn proudly, I can see how someone might be offended for non-racist reasons. Some people might simply find the depiction of death to be offensive.
That said, it’s entirely possible the offended person was a raging racist.
Edit:
This edit is for those of you who are saying that people shouldn’t be offended by violence since it’s on TV. I think you’re missing the fact that the point entirely.
The fact that a depiction of violence is making a valid point doesn’t make it less offensive. In fact, that would detract from the message. Sometimes it is important to make a statement using depictions of violence to get a point across because the violence is offensive.
That said, I think it is perfectly reasonable for someone to find this shirt objectionable for non-racist reasons. For example, many people prefer not to expose their kids to depictions of violence. I think it’s this person’s right to wear the shirt to make their point but the consequence of wearing it is that some people may say that they find it offensive for both non-racist and racist reasons.
We always leave the door open. The amount of mold has gotten awful at times and I even live in a pretty arid climate. I never had this issue with top loaders.
Thanks! I’ve been frustrated by my LG and won’t buy one again. I’ve disassembled it twice to clean out mold. I think I’ll try Bosch next time. I love my Bosch dishwasher.
Huh, what brand? Having a smart one didn’t bother me so long as it didn’t require a connection, so maybe I didn’t look THAT hard.
It can actually be a little hard to find models from major brands without wifi. That said, there is no reason that you have to give it access to your router. I worry that they’ll start saying that a wifi connection is mandatory at some point, though.
It’s more about which study or source you’re looking at than what measure is used. It’s tough to estimate stuff like this so different people get different answers.
I’ve tried a few things. It gives back things like “this is a gambled version of this other common saying” or “that statement is nonsensical and is not in common use”.
It did used to work, though. I tried it a while back and it worked. I think it learned or was manually fixed.
Thank you, I needed something political but uplifting. I hope we can hold off fascism long enough to get to the next election. I also hope that young progressives can take back the democratic party. I’m not optimistic, but seeing Bernie talk reminds me that there is some hope.
If you haven’t customized the directions to your taste you’re still an amateur.
Thanks for the reply, I didn’t realize that.
What does it mean to be “on the brink of frustration”? It sounds like “almost frustrated”.
For once, this title actually understates the issue here. We have only been collecting data on this for 40 years. This is the first time on record that the annual upwelling event has failed to occur. It is likely due to climate change reducing the strength of the trade winds. This is indicative of much larger, global impacts from weakened trade winds.
I doubt that anyone can really say what the broader impacts will be. I suspect that there are other regions experiencing similar disruptions. This will likely impact everything to local climate to migration patterns of sea life in many locations.
That really did take me a few seconds.
It typically is pasteurized if it comes from a woman other than the baby’s own mother. If it is donated milk, for example.
Ummm, so the economy is tanking and no one is launching anything so we’d better make use of the “lull” to build more infrastructure? I suppose theyre being optimistic that we’ll get out of this at least…
Wait, I thought we were done with the moon and aiming for Mars. Why would we care if another country “beats” us to the place we first went to 56 years ago?
Maybe we should look more at how China is going to start beating us on earth science research due to defunding NASA’s earth science mandate?
This man and those enabling him are going to get soooo many people killed. The number of deaths from preventable diseases is going to spike for decades after these policies are enacted. I guess childhood death to terrible, completely preventable diseases is just “part of the human experience”, though.
Fucking evil ghouls. I hope they directly feel the effects of their policies.
I was so hopeful until reading your comment… I should have known that no Democrat would have this strong a spine.
