  • Absolutely, we are coming out with new versions of RAM and PCI express and hardware that won’t take advantage of those specks for years. I built a mid tier to slightly lower end pc in 2016, and it can still play most games at max for 1080, which is fine. I built a newer higher end one near the end of 2023, and I fully expect to use this for the next 10 years min. Gone are the days of innovation where year to year would bring something crazy. I like that. Buying something that won’t be outdated in 3 years is perfectly fine by me.

  • Yeah, that is correct. As someone who grew up during peak Simpsons, they were most relevant up until the end of the 90’s. Maybe 01-02 tops, but that was definitely when it faded from most people’s minds. I did end up seeing the movie and even went to the theaters for it just because. It was odd because everyone loved the Simsons, but everyone was just there because everyone was curious about what they were going to do. It was meh and quickly forgotten, lol. I can’t even imagine who this new movie is targeting.

  • It’s weird for me… I enjoy it for what it is and even feel the need to continue watching it, but im not really sure what its purpose is. First season was way more cohesive compared to the 2nd, and right now, im not loving the path it’s going that much. Yet despite all that, I still tune in weekly! It has its moments, but it’s also kind of boring. It’s a nice wind down before bed show, i guess. I also like Seth Rogan, but just for comparison, the studio blows this out of the water.

Edit: After seeing the finale, I guess i kind of understand the point of this season more with its meandering feel to it. From the looks of it, season 3 should be good knowing the direction it’s going.
