Timberborn is a city-builder full of beavers, in a world where humans are long gone. It's properly great, and now it's finally about to hit the big 1.0.
For me it was anticipating (knowing when) the drought, bad tides, etc. Once I knew the schedule, I had preparations incrementally in place and each play through became easier and easier…but man those first few run throughs were tough on my little beaver friends
It’s pretty good!
My only complaint is that the difficulty curve is out of whack. Starts out hard, becomes very easy.
That’s sort of true of all city-builders and even strategy games more broadly.
With city-builders, in the mid to late game I switch to building out elaborate cities and projects.
