    Dude Trent is a fucking legend. He personally gave my high-school DMP class a bunch of raw sound files to work with. He also had a website that let you make music using some of those files. I’m not sure if it’s still up.

    We also got a bunch of files from Angel and Airwaves because Tom was an alumni. That was pretty cool.

      NIN has an amazing catalogue, but The Fragile has a special spot in my listening collection.

        I say, it’s his magnum opus

        I never get tired of listening to it, and the vinyl is a slightly better version then the original cd copy. He had to remix it and redu parts to make it fit on vinyal format. Some of the new cuts are just so awesome

          I’d agree, it’s a masterpiece. If I recall correctly he was disillusioned by its mild reception and he denounced the crap pop music of the time that had taken hold. Maybe it was all even partly to blame for his move to more esoteric projects like the film soundtracks he stated doing around then.

    Love that album. The tour for that album too, with a perfect circle for the opening act, such a great show.
