I do wonder how it’s possible to get out of this mindset, because I dont like most people and I like my things…like I imagine most of us in the western world do.

Best answer is to get organized! PSL and FRSO are both good picks if you’re in the US Empire and they are active near you, but see what’s local. Actively getting involved is a huge way to really build up a sense of community.

If you’re a leftie, go to a protest, union picket line, other leftist activity.

Ask for help that you don’t necessarily need from a friend or family member. Offer help they may or may not need and provide it if they call on you.

I definitely had internalized some of it myself and had caught myself thinking less of some people who weren’t super independent.

i wonder the same thing, but not because of the things i like; but because most of the people i interact with tend to exclude me due to my autism influenced sensibilities & behavior.

how do you build a communal consciousness when the rest of the community struggles to tolerate you due to unconscious biases that all neurotypical people have?

It’s pretty easy to think of your tribe, family, community. You just chose to do so…

Entrepreneurs are actually not bad by themselves, a group of people getting together to solve a problem society has isn’t necessarily bad. The issue lies entirely within the pervesion of it having to be profitable, requiring investment, labour exploitation and the issue of private ownership. These criteria kill good entrepreneurial ideas. A problem not profitable to solve is almost never pursued no matter how beneficial it would be to society. I am using the term entrepreneur more as an inventor here.
