Mastodon question, because I’d like to sign up to participate - does Sharkey federate in the way I’d expect, namely I’ll see toots and comments from all of the Fedi corners my instance federates with, or is it best if I just make an account on the instance where most of the #monsterdon chatter is taking place (probably mastodon social?); or is there some issue with Sharkey that discourage this but I can pick any reasonably federated Mastodon instance?
You can’t go wrong with a Jack Arnold movie.
Okay, this is weird - I just mentioned this film in a joke comment last week.
Yeah I also seen several references to this movie in the last week or so. Including a “10 things you didn’t know about” from Minty that was just released.
I’ll have to look for that. Making things more strange to me is that I’ve never seen the movie, and so very rarely even think about it - let alone actually mention it.
Here you go, enjoy!
Hey, you should mention Dracula in a joke comment, I’m hoping we watch a vampire movie next!
Sorry, not much into vampire stuff. If I actually have that kind of bizarre power over this, then I’m more likely going to recommend something in the realm of sci-fi. Maybe something appropriate to our times like Colossus: The Forbin Project, which fits some fears about the future of AI’s direction.
(Nervously awaits future movie selection announcements…)
“Colossus: The Forbin Project” is a great movie, though weirdly it’s the kind that I only really needed to see once… I think I saw it in a watch party schedule somewhere recently…
Although it just occurred to me there’s a vampire movie I actually kinda liked as a child, and that I should probably watch again since I bet much of it went over my head at the time. That would be Love at First Bite. I do like me some Richard Benjamin.
omg “Love at First Bite” sounds awesome!
