It was a fun movie, my partner and I enjoyed ourselves. It was nice to see a fresh take on Supes that leaned into the heart of him.

I’m always interested in what Gunn is doing, he’s been consistently strong in writing very human characters that stick with you.

I enjoyed it! My friends not as much as me.

They said they wouldn’t care to see a sequel.

      movie talk

I thought it was the Superman I expected from Gunn.

I liked how “real” his Kansas parents felt? Like they weren’t big name actors or nothing and sounded like regular parents.

The monster in the back while he was talking to Lois was hilarious.

Lois reminded me of Courtney Cox so much for some reason.

I also like how Superman was obsessed with saving people than punching enemies. It made me happy. Genuinely enjoyed this movie and I’m excited for Supergirl.

Solid characters! Loved everyone talking like real people. Lots of “shit!” thrown around. They were pushing the envelope for PG-13 and did great.

I don’t watch too many superhero movies, but I liked this one. They seemed to get a good foundation down as far as casting and direction. Movie was very wholesome, very sweet. I’m looking forward to seeing more:)
