Don’t buy parts until you have a clue as to what might be happening. It’ll save you money.

Yes. It sounds like they removed anti cheat from linux for a spell and watched an uptick in cheater switching platforms. So they weren’t willing to support the anticheat, removed it from the game and watched cheaters flock to the platform. I don’t think they are saying linux users are cheaters, just that cheater will use linux if vulnerable.

Repair shops can do a better job cleaning than a home option. I had a data and charge problem, bought a kit and tried 3x times; it didn’t work . Bought new cables just in case that was the issue. Brought it in for repair fully expecting to pay for a port repair. Repair shop did a through cleaning charged me $15 and sent me on my way with everything working.
