Everyone deserves some pity. If you don’t think so then you really aren’t a good person either.

There is something to consider though if we are not helping people realize their full potential.
And I doubt that anyone truly gifted as a child is dumb now. Innate intelligence doesn’t just whiff away.
People are able to tighten up the belt if they believe in the cause. And you can even rewind the clock on the capitalist system to see that people were contributing more and taking less for themselves.
Erosion of social structure was helped a LOT by targeted propaganda. Some of which is influencing your own thought process.
Think about it.
Because it is largely a manufactured problem. And not having it actually in your life makes it so much better for manufacturing purposes. You can dial up to 11 all the fears of unknown, misconceptions and what not that drive people politically where you want them, while you have no real world to push back on your nonsense.
Yes the people that get duped do bear a bit of the burden due to not doing proper research on their own. But the vast majority of the burden is on the people that push this through. And unfortunately they are pretty damn good at their jobs.
There were several atomoxetine shortages in EU already. Dunno about other parts of the world, but it is also an issue for the atom.
Yeahhhhh. I’m on a correct dosage of atomoxetine since a bit over a month and I still cannot get used to just being so calm. The need for energy drinks and sweets literally evaporated after a one week retreat, as did my obsessive need for gaming which I used as a soothing tool since being a lil undiagnosed kid.
I can count moments in my life when I felt this internally calm on the fingers of one hand. It feels so eerie right now, and I’m feeling my brain looking for a gotcha moment that will end this. Hope this stays with me for a longer while and gives me a shot at sorting out my life without being a stress powered ball.
For all their faults, LLMs are pretty damn good at basic trouble shooting of Linux. Ideally prepare context for them with installation details. Use CLI client, recommend opencode CLI, plan agent is good to inspect the commands it will plan to run and let’s you inspect and think through what it is doing. Can also ask for clarifications along the way.
It’s not perfect but very good.
