I’ve seen this story, and it’s ridiculous. The paper wasn’t graded poorly because of its religious content, it was given a zero automatically because it was a response to an article that cited absolutely zero sources, including the article that it was supposedly responding to.

This is how I see it. Also, it keeps me sharp for when things go turbo sideways, and I need them skills to fix a thing now now now.

So? If I’m paying for a thing, I’ll sooner pay for a thing that doesn’t have ads than one that does.

That’s exactly the thing that turned me off cable. I’m not interested in paying for a service that’s going to pipe ads into my home. OTA TV, fine, I’m not paying for that. When I can pay for services that don’t show me ads, why would I pay for one that does?

Yeah, this is something that I’ve been wanting for a while now too. I flip flop between my steam deck and a steam-machine-like desktop pc with an original steam controller for a while now, and not having my control mappings translate from one to another has been annoying (but in an understandable way). This is gonna be sweeeeeet.

Isn’t it wild that our bodies all include the instructions for either direction on the spectrum, but just require the right signal molecules?

By “tenants” I mean people who rent space on the tower for antennas, and supporting equipment.

More space on the roof for stuff pointing up, more area around the edge for stuff pointing down and out. Mounting stuff is easier when you don’t have to hire professional tower climbers to do it.

Heck, you can throw a freight elevator in there, and get so much more interest from tenants with just that. If tall buildings didn’t do all that so well already, I’m sure we’d see more of these around highly populated areas.
