Neat! That game has been on my wishlist for a long time, i still keep passing on it whenever it’s on sale…one day i’ll actually pull the trigger. It’s nice reading all these replies about various mods and things keeping the game ‘current’!

I’ve learned this as well. But printing parts to supplement existing toys…now that’s been great. Hot Wheels accessories is a really good example…
I have a belt with a plastic buckle/cinch thing now that i always make sure is my “flight belt” for this reason. Even for events i know will have security check points for access. I’ve only ever had to take it off ONE time in like 8-9 years and that was flying out of Dublin airport to mainland Europe last month- i had already gone through the scanner and I got flagged. Security dude said it had nothing to do with plastic vs. metal belt, just that it was a “bulky area” that something could be in……well, fair enough, i guess.
Haa, i was gonna say “is that for real???”(like not a mishap) But there’s even a second way back there!
Damn, you right…i was going off memory…
My first thought as well…BuUuTt, Land trains are a thing, in Australia of course.
We rewatched this movie last fall sometime and (obviously) immediately knew who that was…we were surprised because we didnt know he was in it. Basically this just dates how long it had been since we last saw the movie……
You’re not wrong, but if not for the massive billboards and the american branded vehicles- ive been to a number of cities in Europe and the UK that look like this or worse, with more traffic and more, much larger buildings….(i currently live in Germany…) Also, places in Hawaii do look like this, too, unfortunately…mostly Maui and Hawai’i where there’s this much space, but Ohau’s south shore has been bad far a long time 😕
Never heard of them, but i just checked out their site- those are pretty neat! I’ve no use for any of their setups, but they still look really nice!
That’s what I was thinking, too. 5 subpanels for an average residential home is pretty huge. 2-3 is still okay for a 150-200a service, but 5…that’s a lot of circuits….
I played through all 3 games again back-to-back a few years ago (having previously only played separately as they released), lots of stuff tie them all together and loop back to familiar scenes and incidents from different angles and times, even a 2 part DLC for Infinite. Basically looping back to where the first game starts that kinda makes it an Infinite story loop…very well done.
Also, there’s a book that prequels the first game- tells the story of Ryan building Rapture and how it all got started. Lots of back-story and lore on quite a few characters…especially “Fontaine” and how he ended up as the fish merchant…
Yup…that would really bug me. Cant un-see it now
Well….notice all the tables and chairs between her and the tv. There are lines on the floor under the Tv which are where you are supposed to be throwing from. The Axe throwing places ive been to have pretty serious rules about how and where to throw from, so this might actually have fallen back on her, not the venue…
My 4 year old daughter recently got hooked on Sailor Moon…so I’ve slowly been 3d printing her the Crescent Moon wand. I dont have a multi-color printer so I’ve had to do some 3d modeling work to separate some of the files of a design I found so I can print it correctly in the various colors without the need to paint. It’s almost done, then I’m going to figure out how to make it light up for version 2….
That’s my thought as well. Considering none of his is actually twisted pair, likely not “data” rated- just old multi-line POTS cabling…BUT- im pretty sure all exterior “burial” rated cable has always been filled with something for the purpose of preventing water ingress. I want to say icky-pick was a nickname for it?
Neat. I love happy little surprise conveniences left by someone else! As someone who deals a lot in low-voltage stuff, i really like this one.
I’ve definitely bought some in the last…4 years that are still standard replaceable 9v only powered. In the US from local hardware stores. A quick amazon search shows i can still buy both types, replaceable 9v and fixed 10 year…
If you’re in the US, RockyMountainATV/MC has always been my go to for the best OEM parts availability and prices for offroad bikes. Not to mention great selection of aftermarket parts as well. KLX should still get some parts support from there, likely sharing parts with the KX line. They might actually ship out of the US, but ive never tried?
My next go to is Motorsport.com, but RMATVMC almost always has the best prices and best shipping for OEM.
Lately we’ve been acquiring and rewatching a lot of old 90s cartoons/TV shows with our daughter, and i feel this so much. The fade-to-black at a particular scene for the commercial break, the ‘brought to you by…’ that’s written in. And then the nostalgic memory of the types of commercials that would play, like for different toys and such that were sometimes just as exciting to watch as whatever show was on!
Yes. It’s called Star Trek: Scouts.
