Oh interesting. I hadn’t considered that.

Linux and windows are both PC. The only issues with cross platform is with consoles due to their closed environments.
I can’t see why you’d have any issue playing PC games with windows and Linux.

Yeah I’m glad the console brands finally got on board with cross play. Took them long enough
It might be early days, but people do care. It’s just gonna take a while before it is good enough to hit the mainstream.

Me too. Kinda over consoles, PC just works better for me. Glad they’re finally realising they can make more money releasing on PC as well even if it is years after

Doing it this way should achieve this. As long as you wipe the phone properly before restoring the backup to it they should still stay completely independent of each other.

Create a backup, wipe, then import backup. Could use your Google account, it also looks like the Samsung smart switch app supports backing up to computer.

Yeah this is what I’m not understanding about these stories. Why not charge these datacenters according to the pressure they’re putting on the power network?
Yeah it’s been a long while since I used mine, had one of the first generation ones. But the lack of DPI control didn’t particularly bother me, however I’ve never been much of a twitch gamer.
I know you have the preference for wired, but the Logitech MX master has been one of my favourite large mice and the wireless connection seemed pretty lag free. I’m currently using a Corsair wireless mouse, but I do not recommend.

I live in a country with decent workers rights. I forget that America is a crap hole sometimes.

You gotta admit, that kind of attendance is pretty unheard of. Everyone would have taken at least a few days of in a typical year.
Tbh there are times when he probably SHOULD have taken time off. It’s certainly an achievement, but he probably sacrificed his health and that of those around him to get there.

How about… Supervise your children’s use of technology? Don’t give them unrestricted devices? The government can’t do anything to stop a motivated intelligent kid, but parents can (to a greater degree at least)

The fish singing “homer loves Mindy!” If I remember correctly
Get a bigger drive. Swapping them out on modern laptops is often quite easy. Grab a copy of the manual or search for videos if you want to know more. Replacement 1tb nvme drives can be quite cheap these days, 2tb ones aren’t especially price prohibitive either.

I’d keep things semi formal in terms of what you call things (proper names rather than slang). Keeping a sense of formality, I think at least, takes a little bit of the weirdness out of discussing things with a parent.
Plus remind that it’s all a natural thing and that they’re welcome to ask questions without judgement. Safe sex info and that is a good idea too probably.
I guess you know what your kid can handle.
Hopefully some of this is useful to you
I hope you can get to the point where you no longer give a crap about those people and find a way to live for yourself or someone you actually care about.
That said, spite living is still better than not living at all. I wish you a chance at a happier life.
Agreed. If it’s not illegal then it should be allowed. Not that I approve of this type of content, but corporations should not be selectively enforcing their morals.
Unraid is easy to start with when you have no idea what you’re doing. Other stuff often requires more up front work to setup.
The paid licence is just the cost of the conveniences.
