How is norway so low?? We have mostly trash roads with a few noteable exceptions. Cliff on one side, river or fjord on the other. No shoulder worth mentioning unlike sweeden, that often have half a lane on either side of the road.

It takes time to grow a new party. With first past the post voting there is no time to do that in. Since any new party will take voters from the party you allign more with and guarantee the party you align less with wins. And none of the 2 major parties are interested in changing to a system that would give themselfs less power. Those poor people over there are stuck with psycopatic fasistic party that is afraid of everything and everyone, and a megalomanic ignorant party that degrades into in-fighting any time they have any power.

I feel very much that the gap of what is normal have narrowed a LOT in my 50 years. Especialy in school. While there are laws that say everyone should have adapted teaching, it is just more and more classrom and less and less practical work. With a lot more burocracy for teachers. (Norway)

Firefox’s default total cookie protection is the real solution for this. Yes there is a facebook cookie on reddit, but it is sandboxed from the facebook cookie on cnn and the facebook cookie on youtube.
Also the noscript extension. It takes a while for you to curate your whitelists, but it is easy to do and nothings get to run without a active considerarion.

Parents are people that want a baby. I do not know what people beeing forced to carry a unwanted mass to term is. A slave? Or a prisoner? trafficing victim? This is the fucking truth. It is also a very easy solution, most people want children, it is baked into our genes. It is just when the countries of the world have made the rules like they are now. That encourages ans premieres the hoarding of wealth into the hands of very VERY few. At the expence of exploiting everyone else and the planet. It makes human civilization a dystopia not worth saving, and not wanting to put children thru this meat grinder, in order to enrich some asshole, is very normal and compassionate.

Make rules that are fair, and protects the planet. at the expence of some billionares having to be millioneres. And I bet most people would love to have children.

Been running debian stable on a few hundred servers for 25 ish years.
And I always install and enable unattended upgrades. And it have never been a problem. Not even once.
