That doesn’t work for the thumbnail animations apparently.

That still doesn’t quiet the thumbnail animations and adds an extra click when I want to see it.
I would drop a downspout from the second story then do another from the one-story section. Hard to tell from the pics but if I’m seeing it right that second story run appears to be over 20 feet. You kind want to drop the water at least every 30 feet max.

Thanks for listening!!

It was a little bit overdue.2·3 months agoCovid hit right when I was due for a mop-chop and since I’m customer-facing I got a little panicky so had a really nice trimmer with guards shipped out. I haven’t been to a barber since and frankly, I think I do a better job. My wife has to even out the back of my neck though.

Oh yeah, grab the great plastic pollution bomb in the pacific and hurl it into the sun then use fry-eyes to burn every plastic manufacturer on the planet.
rouxdoo@lemmy.worldto Electric Vehicles@slrpnk.net•Another way electric cars clean the air: study says brake dust reduced by 83%233·4 months agoI call total bullshit on this. I drive a (work-provided) Prius every day. This thing has some serious get-up-and-go…meaning as I drive it every day I simply smoke those (front) tires. I leave most “performance cars” (ICE) behind at the light. That means that I am tossing micro-plastics out at a greater rate than most cars. I burn though tires every 15,000 miles.
When I get a red light (remember, I don’t own it, it’s a work car) I slam brakes until I can punch it again once it’s clear. The regen-brake thing never applies given how I drive. The Prius is not inherently greener, it’s just more fun than the ICE alternative I had before.
I do burn through a lot less gas so I guess 30-50 MPG is worth something.
I love my green alternative vehicle!
I’m prepared for flames but I’m a light/sweet guy - always have been except with espresso. I control how much I use by employing heavy cream to just cover the bottom of my cup. One pump of simple syrup to that then filler 'er up from my French press. I gather that will not be your cup of tea but that’s how I like it.

I hope to find my own (much less extravagant) comfort some day.
rouxdoo@lemmy.worldto United States | News & Politics@lemmy.ml•Thousands of veterans face foreclosure after Trump's VA ends key mortgage program8·5 months agoTrump has always been a land-owner, he has always relished the thrill of kicking the poors out in favor of maximizing rent profits. The fact that this hits veterans hard is a BONUS to him - they were stupid and weak for choosing the “publicly funded military boondoggle special program” that is a “drain on our budget” and we need to “cut the fat” that is weighing us down. (you saw the tiny hands making gestures as he said that).
I stopped going there a couple of years ago unless Amazon reports that they subbed delivery through USPS. My wife’s like it’s important to go every few days and every time she walks in after saying “not worth the walk” because there is never anything worthwhile anymore. If it’s important the app or the email will say so - the post is dead.
Best answer to the question here. Neither either of either is right (or wrong).
Agree. I have updated my Ubiquity router twice in the last month. I’ve updated HA … a STUPID number of times in that span. Whoever wrote that is a dunce.

What are your favorite soups?English3·6 months agoCarrot Orange soup - hear me out, this is awesome. Coarse chop onions and sauté in a soup pot. Add a bunch of chopped carrots and cook with some veg stock. When tender use stick blender to make smooth and add orange juice, salt and pepper to taste. My wife makes this whenever someone is sick or has a surgery and feels weak. It is a magic soup!
rouxdoo@lemmy.worldto Dull Men's Club@lemmy.world•Ran an ethernet cord in my house the proper way4·6 months agoI absolutely LOVE running new network cable for stuff - it is so satisfying to run it in a hidden way then crimp the ends and use the cable tester to determine that you jacked up the RJ45’s and recrimp until it’s right. I have about a 80/20 success rate crimping ethernet cable plugs - it has gotten much better since the introduction of push-through jacks.
Tomorrow I am going to punch a hole through the brick out front to run a cable from the office out to the alley side of the house to mount a POE camera…been putting this off for months because I am not only dull, but lazy (I have said this to myself for over 20 weeks of procrastination so you can safely await my dull post about actually doing it).
