Damaging government property is terrorism now?
Thank you for sharing
Fantastic writing. Thanks!

That’s exactly right. I know he’s from NSC. Stepping down when you get zero room to maneuver isn’t integrity, it’s forced. And he dragged his feet doing something for Gaza every step of the way as well, it’s not like he was helping them meaningfully anyways. I am pinning this on VVD completely. NSC is done for, they’re going to 0. What a clown show
Edit: Let me be clearer. Veldkamp stepped down but that doesn’t make him one of the good guys. The remark “at least he has integrity” is not warranted
I’m bringing in VVD because I blame this on their blocking everything. Their frame of “NSC walks away because they don’t take responsibility” is preposterous
Not this guy, don’t get it mixed up. They’ve been stalling and rejecting anything, even the smallest things we can do to stop genocide. Of all the motions debated yesterday from our parliament, only reaffirming the current course of inaction and even further blaming Hamas were passed.
VVD under Yesilgoz is firmly pro-Israel and doesn’t give two shits about genocide. They should be brought to trial, not running the country.
Popular sentiment is anti-zionist but our elected officials aren’t, having been elected mostly on anti-immigrant right wing points

I have an idea…
You can’t guilt consumers into submission, it just doesn’t work. I’m not saying lifestyle choices can’t make a difference, because they can, but people can’t be forced into it. Environmentally friendly choices need to become more competitive
Eindhovuhhhhhhh
Thanks for explaining
I agree. I was referring to Louis Rossmann’s Clippy campaign that we should not accept this as consumers but we want technology to help us, like Clippy
Edit: let’s not mass downvote for an innocent misunderstanding, even if they worded it a bit strongly. C’mon now

Unacceptable. It should be illegal to even build the capability to brick someone else’s property
Bad example, reddit blackouts did work. People left
I’m not doing the profile picture thing, sorry. It’s stupid and forces me to commit to one issue at a time.
Instead, I’ll put a clippy in the replies when relevant.

Everyone saying this is different than the dot com bubble: Yes, I know LLMs aren’t 100 percent hot air and there are legitimate use cases for them, but the internet also wasn’t useless and it didn’t go away. It was just overhyped. It’s still an apt comparison
