In general I feel like discussions around creator responsibilty, having a huge platform with lots of funding etc. are something kinda lacking in the online spaces I frequent. I think on twitter/mastodon/bluesky there is way more of this.

In the meantime I think it would be helpful for you to write / describe the key points (or link to a summary) you wanted to share. This might make it easier to fully understand your post and what you want to convey in a more accessible way, especially because Lemmy mostly is seems to be mostly text based.

Ich finde Siedler ist auch nur verharmlosend weil es einfach nicht genug Thematisierung, Bildung und Verständnis zu Kolonialismus gibt. Besonders in englischsprachigen Staaten die quasi Siedlerkolononien sind (Canada, USA, Australien) wird auch in meiner Erfahrung immer die direkte Übersetzung “settler” verwendet.

Aber ja, es gibt schon einen Unterschied zwischen selber aktiv Vertreibung zu machen und von teils Jahrhunderte zurückliegender Vertreibung passiv zu profitieren.

Ich kann den Drang, sich bei völkerrechtswidrigen Aktivitäten nicht filmen zu lassen, schon verstehen.

They shouldn’t even be in a court because any society that actually cares about health and climate justice would have already stopped the current airtravel system and also the use of taxis.

And using the court room as an extension of their activism is a well known and often effective tactic (when you care about publicity). Most people who do this are aware of the consequences and deserve our solidarity because of their unjust treatment by this death cult of society we live in.

It should be, but I dont think that Democrats see it the same way. The party as a whole besides some individual politicians is not a party that is ready or willing to oppose the fascists.

They also have a track record of being useless against Trump. They were in power 4 years, Biden promised to bring the country back together and just failed. There is no need to focus on them when resisting Trumpism.

Doesnt mean they couldnt join the cause, but most likely they will do that when they decide to co-opt it so they can win the next election.

Ich finde schade, dass dein Kommentar hier gefühlt schlechtsmöglichst interpretiert wird. Ich würde auch anzweifeln ob erzwungene Verhaltensänderung wirklich Rücksicht ist.

Aber es geht hier auch gar nicht/ kaum um die individuelle Ebene, sondern um gesamtgesellschaftlich Prozesse. Eine vermeintlich rücksichtsvolle Gesellschaft (hier im Beispiel Dänemark) gestaltet die Verkehrsregeln anders (Tempolimit, Radverkehr, …) als eine vermeintlich weniger rücksichtsvolle Gesellschaft wie DE. Die Prioritäten in der Verkehrspolitik ändern und bspw gefährdete Verkehrsteilnehmys besser schützen wäre zumindest auf gesamtgesellschaftlicher Ebene rücksichtsvoller.

Schade. War sehr schön mal mit dem Nextbike zum See und/oder zurück.
