Yep, and he worked successfully to pass a lot of very meaningful legislation for working class residents of Vermont during his career. I’m not sure why you assume if one man would have only worked a little harder that we wouldn’t be where we are today, and that since he didnt succeed in fixing all the things he cares about, its rational to assume he’s a fraud.

He does that also. He spoke in the small decaying city I live in and hosted a rally featuring many local mutual aid organizations and leaders. This was about a month ago. Then there was a large block party outside the venue in the alley where everyone could mingle and connect over what he just spoke about.

If the left in the US was organized at all there would be support groups being started for these people similar to AA meetings where everyone can safely share how they fucked up and were “conned”. The leftist organizers of these meetings then need to, without judgement, guide them towards good media literacy and critical thinking skills or pair them up with “sponsors” to call and talk to if they are unable to determine if they are being fed propaganda.
