Of course we could. However, a normal lightening bolt contains around 100 dollar’s worth of electricity. The cost of the equipment to capture and convert that power would be 100’s of thousands of dollars. Combined with the uncertainty of the supply, it’d be a heck of a vanity project.

No, the honey is on a sort of shelf outside and there’s a box for you to put the money in. You could steal the moneybox and the honey but in civilised society it doesnt happen. This system is big for eggs around where I live - spare eggs are sold on an honesty basis at the end of driveways and if you are a really good customer you should return the eggboxes for reuse.

Swearing is brilliant if you smash your thumb with a hammer, or break something expensive. If you swear all the time in normal conversation you don’t have any special words left to use when those things I mentioned happen.
I had an objection to google pay for a while, and discovered Barclaycard (credit card in the uk) use an app which would act as a replacement for google pay. Worked perfectly. Of course then I found out how terrible barclays bank is for the environment, so I tap my co-op credit card now. Interestingly, google pay takes nothing when you use them to buy stuff, Applepay grab 0.25% as a transaction fee. Makes them billions per year, and the cost is shared by all of us.
I can save lots of money by not paying my rent.

So if I want one lettuce which only has a short shelf life, but there is a buy one get one free deal, I’d be stupid not to pick up two. Because I can only eat one lettuce before it goes bad, the second lettuce will be binned before its even started. All buy one get one free deals should be banned - if you want us to buy more of a product, halve the price!
