I didn’t realize that Purism phones don’t have internationally compatible modems. As someone who travels a lot, that’s unfortunately a dealbreaker.

And who decided to put the word “nutrition” in an accessibility feature that has nothing to do with nutrition? Braille on a smartphone screen? A magnifier app with normal sized UI controls? Who is in charge of this?

It’s that what we generally call processed food is engineered to optimize for things other than the health of those who eat it: flavor, addictiveness, cheapness, etc. And all of those goals are so pervasive and so at odds with health that virtually anything we call “processed food” is terrible for us.

Don’t forget that international airports count as an international boundary, so that basically covers the whole country.

Why does “productivity” need to be the end? I like some degree of randomness because it makes my life more interesting and enjoyable. In a way, that can make me more productive if I feel more inspired or motivated by it. But I do it because I like it: taking a random road on my daily commute, talking to a random person and seeing what happens, trying a random new restaurant, etc. I have a highly random life with very little routine or predictability.

One of the biggest reasons why we can’t be naked anywhere we want to is people like you who are unapologetic pedophiliac exhibitionists and voyeurs. There are actually nudist cities in the world, but I can guarantee you that an uncontrollable pedophile would not be allowed there.
