Anyone surprised by this? The people screaming about immorality are ALWAYS those engaged deepest in it.
Today I learned my 50-something ass is a teenager.
Did Trump actually say that the U.S. would back them up? Or does he just think Europe should enter a war against Russia? Not that I don’t trust the guy…
The fact that this bill isn’t law is a big reason why the U.S.’s stature in the world — and the prospects of its citizens — has fallen so far so fast. The fact that the GOP blocked it at every stage tells you they knew their plans and would not have been been able to win a fair election if they had to face one.
No delusions at all among these absolutely normal things, but eh?
Absolutely both
Sure, remind every lawmaker who this guy really was every year on George Floyd’s birthday.
True enough. It seems I blew the assignment, as most of my examples are more fantasy-based than historically accurate. Still fun shows, though.
To be fair, I only saw a few episodes of the first season and had no expectations or notions when I stumbled on it; it seemed fine for what it was.
The other shows I mentioned, though, are actually favorites in our house.
For relatively recent US comedies, Season 2 of Miracle Workers, Galavant, and My Lady Jane were all pretty good. Also, Disenchanted was a pretty good animated series.
Holy shit.
I mean, technically The Doctor did marry The Doctor’s Daughter, so…
Why do folks call these “groups” and “organizations?” Even if they have members in the White House now, they are still just common street gangs. People need to stop bestowing legitimacy on these thugs and call them out as the criminals they are.
… And they are A-ok with that.
Not immediately, but if fewer people benefit from Reddit, Reddit loses users; if Reddit loses users, it loses content; if it loses content, it has nothing left to sell.
Granted, the cycle will begin anew elsewhere, but that’s the circle of life. Eventually, someone will invent Usenet and/or slam books again.
My wife has been fighting a rare cancer for the past four years, and thanks to the “cancer moonshot,” she’s still alive and otherwise well — teaching, loving, helping to raise our family, and paying taxes. Had she been diagnosed just five years earlier (or, it seems, five years later), she probably wouldn’t have lived more than a few months after diagnosis.
Cutting this funding is a devastating blow to so many families, for so many lives. What kind of soulless human could approve of such based cruelty?
So they can hide the Epstein Files in his casket?
Nobody said you can’t be beaten to a quivering, mass of mutilated organs and shattered bones. You just won’t have death to release you from the pain.
