“Male fail” is a slang term from the trans community (at least online, not sure how widespread it is in general). It refers to when a trans woman is trying to fly under the radar by presenting as male (also known as boy-moding), but for whatever reason does not manage to pass as one and is recognized as female. Sometimes due to mannerisms, sometimes because their HRT has progressed too far, etc. This is usually seen as a good thing, since it is gender-affirming to not be seen as your assigned gender, but can also be dangerous if it leads to transphobic abuse.
In this case, the implication is that the local “Lord” has been collecting pregnant mare urine to extract feminizing hormones for ye olde HRT, and is embarrassed and happy that it is apparently working, since the peasant saw her as a lady.
Congratulations!
It acts like a subreddit, but it’s not.
Putin must have finally missed a paycheck.
If you like My Name Is Nobody, you may also enjoy They Call Me Trinity. I haven’t seen My Name Is Nobody, so I can’t compare them, but they are both Western comedies co-starring Terence Hill, so it wouldn’t surprise me if they have some similarities. Trinity also has a sequel, but I haven’t had a chance to watch it yet.
They are responding to the body of the post, not the title. There is text as well.
Agreed. My concern, beyond the executive overreach that others have mentioned, is that employers could theoretically remove all other options from your available investment vehicles. That would be even more colossally stupid, and I don’t expect it to happen, but that would be the other way this could bite regular people even if they know better. At least they should give you the option to roll your account over into an independently managed IRA before liquidating everything.
Funny, I thought of it as geological carcinization.
So messed up. The store bent over backwards to appease the bigots, and they still aren’t satisfied. Just goes to show their only real complaint is that trans people exist in the first place. Boycott them for giving a spineless apology instead, when they could have stood up for their employees who are just doing their jobs and have to deal with cretins like these.
I might be able to help clear this up for you. Whether or not the take is spicy depends on how transphobic or ignorant the parties involved are, so I’ll start by addressing the facts.
If you are a woman, then it is gay to be attracted to a trans woman.
If you are a man, then it is not gay to be attracted to a trans woman.
Regardless of whether you or anyone else is a man, woman, gay, or otherwise, and of whatever physical bits are involved, you are not obligated to be attracted to anyone in particular.
If you are a straight man, and you do not visually perceive the trans woman as appearing consistent with your idea of what a woman should look like, then you are unlikely to be attracted to her.
If you are a straight man who is attracted to a trans woman and feel uncomfortable with or threatened by it, then you are transphobic. This doesn’t necessarily mean you hate trans people, it can just mean that you fear being associated with them or having to think about them.
On spiciness:
He may end up needing a lawyer if he gets targeted by hostile legal action, but that hasn’t happened yet. He can always get one later. It doesn’t make sense to get a lawyer to manage funds when there are no funds to manage.
You mean Scott? He’s not managing anything for the EU initiative, he’s just promoting it as a volunteer. Is there even any funding involved in the petition?
I’ve always been too much of a lurker to go around posting things, but I can confirm that this egg_irl community was the one that finally shattered my shell, so there could be something to your theory.
That was an interesting analysis, thanks! I feel it also reinforces my original observation. The East India Company was nothing, if not a system of control that ultimately failed.
Probably, but history repeats itself. That conflict was not the first time the line between business and public interests was muddled with the result of large scale warfare and oppression, nor the last, so the same themes are relevant. And the meme has a very explicit focus on tea.
This feels like a meme about the East India Company.
Ubisoft and Embracer are, but they’re still shitty.
The first half of the description, combined with the unmentioned ambition of LotR, made me think of Star Citizen. But we’ll have to wait another 5-10 years to find out if they manage to deliver on that ambition, and stand the test of time.
lol, I thought you meant this game at first: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spider-Man_(2000_video_game)
Your original comment is accurate for that one, too.
