Not The Onion@lemmy.world•Elon Musk Blames Jeff Bezo’s Ex, MacKenzie Scott for the “Decline of Western Civilization”English
21·20 days agoSooo did she actually see ol’ musky’s weird message? Or was this just her doing her thing?
Article doesn’t really say. Seems more like she’s just doing her thing and Elon chose to have tiny dick energy at a convenient time.
Well yea… Hes kinda always has that.
Thanks for the advice. I think ive been convinced to wait and see where the steam machine pricing falls.
I was thinking pre-built just to have something easier and focus on learning the software side. But yea lots of comments saying it’ll save a lot of money so I’ll make a while project of it.
Eh funny but untrue. The dudes I know who are plant people grow anything cool. Ive got a lot of weird and cool plants.
I do grow the super hot peppers, and i like feeding ticks to my carnivorous plants tho. So its not far off.
I also grow tomatoes, eggplants, garlic, cuces, squash, etc.
Hrm thats a good thought to look into thanks

Fairly easy to keep so far. Likes lots of water and doesn’t want to dry out ever. Doesn’t like winter when the house gets colder.
Ps store let me buy it and download about 3hrs late.
Everything else on the store seemed normal except that game.

7·3 months agoSpringer Mt GA to Katahdin ME, highly recommended…
I did do that a bit. Generally I preferred to just keep it under the rain fly though to grab stuff if needed. And that makes pack up in the am much quicker anyway.
Ended up just not caring about the insects after the first few weeks.
Picking them off my pack.
I use a hammock gear hammock, attached bug screen and internal ridge line. So it pops right up as you hang it.
Switching to hammocking made a huge difference for me!
Eventually I did the AT and hammocked almost every night. Only drawback was leaving my pack outside overnight and picking off the spiders and insects in the am.

Thanks for the help.

2·8 months agoWow I wish that’s how it worked where I live (land of the-now-not-so free). We don’t really get Demos on PS and it sucks when you pay for a full game and decide you don’t like it.
Anyway have fun! If it’s a cool game let me know - I’m interested in it but don’t want to risk paying all that much if I don’t like it.

Books@lemmy.ml•Cosmere: Can I skip elantris? I kinda want to.English
4·9 months agoSoooo Elantris is by far my least favorite cosmere book. To me it seems like B. Sando Sanderson is still finding his voice and style. I did every other cosmere book and came back to Elantris when I had nothing else, sometime after the release of Words of Radiance.
You don’t need to know anything from Elantis for any other book to make sense. There’s some behind the scenes stuff in Elantis that is worth knowing for future speculation about where B. Money is going with it all. But it’s also stuff that you probably won’t understand without a second reading or having read a lot of other cosmere already.
I’d say read everything else you’d like to first and circle back when you are ready. Stormlight archive is my favorite. Aramcum Unbound is also one i keep coming back to - but be very careful of spoilers with that one!
Personally I think Warbreaker is way more essential than Elantris. And I think those are Brando Sando’s weakest.
