I think the Dream Sequences were a little too long, but were a good way of showing Shep’s survivor guilt.

Especially if you lose any crewmates in the Suicide Mission.

I will agree that the whole Star-child, Crucible, Kai Leng stuff was all pretty poorly expanded upon and should have been better.

Percy Jackson has just the one illustrated edition. Funnily enough, so does Eragon.

Truthfully the weakest and strongest part of ME2 is that nothing that impacts the overall plot happens basically at all.

At the start of the first game, the Council is shown irrefutable proof of the existence of Reapers.

Then the second game fully focuses on doing side missions and expanding lore, without anything directly related to the Reapers (Excluding Arrival DLC).

Then 3 has you actually confront the Reapers.

2 is likely my favorite of the games, if only because I love the set pieces, lore, gameplay, all the squad members, and the difficulty level of insanity.

But the ending of 1 with M4 Pt 2 by Faunts playing was just so incredibly like the meme in the post haha. I do also get the same vibe for the ending of Mass Effect 2.

Ah. I read through the whole series (so far) earlier this year. Started in early May and had finished by mid-July.

I struggled getting into Feral Gods (4) and Anarchist’s Cookbook (3).

I may have hyper focused solely on this book series for about two months.

Mass Effect.

3’s ending didn’t quite stick the landing, on launch, but was fixed a few months down the line with the Extended Cut DLC.

1 and 2 were amazing. 1 especially had a great ending.

Ooh I’ve been reading Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief to my son in the evenings.

He loves the illustrated edition. I’m hoping he still likes the books when we shift to text only haha.

This was a really good one. Recency bias I suppose, but it was my favorite of the books.

I’m on The Shadow Rising (WoT #4).

The Dragon Reborn was my favorite entry so far I think. I loved Perrin and Mat’s chapters the most. Mat’s choice at the end really made me appreciate the character.

I’m very excited to see where the story goes from here!

Yeah, I used MangaDex PWA to read a fair amount of licenses series, so them being pulled of that was a major bummer.

I still read some on MangaDex, but not as many and mainly use it as a list of series I plan to read.

The curse of iOS strikes again. Ah well. I’ll continue on with my web browser then.

Do you all use any apps when reading manga? I’m on iOS and mainly stick to websites (RIP Mangadex and Comick) in my browser.

I really appreciate the time frames on this. That’s really good to know. I mostly game sitting within reach of a charger, so it wouldn’t be a big deal for me. I think I’ll go for the Steam Deck LCD once I go for it.

My dad has a model Y with a hitch that also tows his A-frame camper without issue.
