Big 3 was Bleach, Naruto, and One Piece since they were all popular at the same time. Dragon Ball was before any of them and directly inspired at least the author of One Piece.

When I worked at a gas station it was practically the same, sometimes the carton would be more expensive than 10 packs because most smokes have a 2 for 1 deal tied to them. I can’t remember if it was corporate or big tobacco but one of them cracked down on it and changed the rules to where we would get in deep trouble if we sold a “loose carton”.
Dude, read the comments on this post and then go outside and talk to a woman. See if anything said here makes sense. Multiple people here have admitted to never being in a relationship or just giving up on it, so the op is pretty much right. This is a really sad side of Lemmy to see.
You know what? You’re right! Women’s rights and freedoms are the reason I can’t get my dick wet.
And women run the gamble of getting murdered because some little man couldn’t handle rejection, gonna be honest here bud, I think that’s a little bit worse than being posted on someone’s cringe compilation.
Who told women that?
But men are equally shitty, so you just have to find someone on the same shit spectrum as you!
You’re complaints sound like they were copy and pasted from an Andrew Tate manuscript. Most men I know who are healthy and well adjusted have a girlfriend or wife. I dont think ive dated a woman in the last 5 years who expected me to be chivalrous or wanted to “play games” with me and make me chase. My friends and I have been having amazing luck with dating recently I guess. 8 out of 9 of us are either married or in a long term relationship. And were not rich or extremely attractive lmfao. Maybe it’s because none of us are incels and don’t just wanna fuck the first thing with 2 legs to say yes. I feel like men like you can’t see anything a woman is past the vagina, like maybe if you tried to just be friendly instead of horny they would’ve opened up to you and trusted you. Instead most men act like women owe them something when they buy them a gift or a meal. My friends have paid for my food before and I didn’t get on the ground and suck them off, why should a girl be expected to do that.
What a crazy way to say you’ve never had sex.

conservative@lemmy.world•DeSantis promotes Florida as a national model for education policy
41·10 months agoI sadly live in Florida at the moment and this is the biggest fucking joke. They literally don’t even have sex ed at all. Also, I went to a tech school down here during covid for some cheap learning while I wasn’t doing anything else. I had to take placement tests to determine if I was smart enough to go to this school because I didn’t go to high school in the state so they didn’t have any of my education history. I suck at math, I’m really bad, but that math placement felt like an insult to my intelligence, the hardest question was long division, literally something I learned in elementary school, I ended up with a 100%. Florida is a joke and the education system even more so.

413·10 months agoOk, how often do you see Hindus, Buddhists, Nepalese, Indians, Thai, Mongolians, Sri Lankans, Chinese, Japanese, Akans, Hopis, Navajo, and Tlingit peoples spray paint it on walls or get it tattooed on their bodies in AMERICA? This isn’t any of those countries you listed. The next time I see someone with a swastika on their neck and a Nazi salute here in America am I supposed to assume it’s a peace loving Buddhist with an interest in Roman history?

37·10 months agoSo you agree trans people are vulnerable and taken advantage of in the media and general political discourse but the “leftys” lost you cause you talked to some people you didn’t like? I don’t know about you but I’d rather be on the side of an annoying trans person than the side of another old racist with lead poisoning who plays the victim card when people don’t like them.

Anime@lemmy.ml•What do you people recommend for a good grown up romance anime that doesn't make you feel like crap?English
22·10 months agoYou might like Servant x Service, it’s not explicitly a romance anime, more of a comedy but it has some romance sprinkled in from what I remember. It focuses on a a few employees working for the local government at a DMV style office where they deal with customers all day. Light hearted and definitely relatable if you’ve ever worked a service job.
Golden Time was pretty good when I saw it 12 years ago. It’s a college setting so a lot of high school tropes are gone and the characters act more like young adults. I wouldn’t say you need to watch it, but it’s not bad.
Ore Monogatari or “My Love Story” is a favorite for me and my partner. It is a high school setting, but the characters and the pacing make it worth it. If you give it a shot just make it to episode 3 before writing it off.
You probably wouldn’t like Toradora but it’s highly regarded. High school setting again with a lot of clichés, but the clichés are used really well, and make up for the fact that you’ve probably already seen the stereotypes play out before.
