  • Thanks for this question. As the weather cools, I’ve started considering the same thing. Leaving the windows open overnight never seems to cool the house down enough on its own. I’ve been considering using the A/C to help, that way I don’t have to run it as much during the day. Glad I’m not the only one thinking this way.

I’m wondering if this will harm the operation of the air conditioner in any way, given that I have a whole-home HVAC system, and they’re designed to work with the windows closed.

You’re insane if you think I’m reading that wall of text. Did you remember to take your medication today? I already told you that I’m not going to do your homework for you.

Use the browser if you want, or don’t. You don’t have to justify yourself to me; I couldn’t care any less.

Best wishes to you, friend. ✌️

He donated to groups that opposed Prop 8. The whole reason why Brave Browser exists to begin with is because he was kicked out of Mozilla for his views. The entire browser is built on bigotry.

Don’t make me do your work for you; this is widely available information. There’s this thing, called a “search engine”, that allows you to search the web for entertainment, news, and information. Give it a try sometime. Here’s a link: https://duckduckgo.com/

  • How the fuck is he 19 already? He hadn’t even hit puberty yet last time I checked.

Why did time just start flying by after COVID started, and never slowed back down? I’m only in my 30s, but I feel like my life is already more than halfway over. My body feels the same too. The first 30 years of my life lasted forever, but ever since lockdown, a year now feels like a month. Hell, my 30s barely started, and now they’re almost over already, after what feels like less than a year of being 30.

I mean I’m just now starting my life. Finally got a decent job and a house after years of trying, and I already feel too old to accomplish anything more. This is bullshit.

  • Yes but a good manager will arrange a replacement for you after you inform them that you’re putting in the PTO. It shouldn’t fall on your shoulders.

If they can’t find a replacement then they should hire more people and try to overstaff every single day so that there’s always someone to cover. That’s what my workplace does, and because of that there has never been an issue with me taking PTO whenever the hell I feel like it.
