Groceries really more expensive in US?
Just recently or in general? I was under the impression that they got bulk goods at cheaper rates
I applied to view a house the other day and the landlord started to interview me before giving a viewing and has now stopped replying.
IN SO GLAD FOR THIS OPPORTUNITY TO PAY SOMEBODY ELSE’S MORTGAGE

Typical mud wasps, a decade late to the crocs craze.
Imagine someone staring, smiling dumbly at an endless stream of fake kitten videos.
Truly a life without meaning
“How’s it fucking collapsing?”
A niche reference but more and more appropriate
Ya ha-ha!
Imaginary time is the time I get to spend playing video games after work and chores.
Once I used the three finger swipe I couldnt go back. Being able to just quickly peek at another full screen app was very useful, now it’s just muscle memory (and I hate the wasted screen space on the “large but not maximum” windows)
I’m unfortunately a slave to the three finger swipe (I think if that worked as well on Linux I would swap, tried a few third party things on Mint but it’s not as good)
What’s forklift bring to the table?
On Mac I have everything maximised, so I have to drag the thumbnail on top of another thumbnail, which then splits them unevenly, so I have to fix that, then to undo it you have to understand maximize one half (and to get back to where you started at least) re maximize and drag it back I to it’s position. Plus there are the steps to take an existing tab and make it its own window in the first place.
Compared to like right clicking a tab and “show on the side” or however it will work…
I’d prefer it fixed at source too, but I do think there’s a case for making it easy to, say fill in a form in one tab side by side with a reference tab if it’s a 2 click sort of solution (even windows needs annoying drag and dropping with some randomness thrown in)
A small bag of snow balls costs £2.55 and they are all weird and powdery inside now (not the actual external powder of course)
It’ll be handy on Mac where you can easily do split desktop, but can’t easily undo it, so it’s hardly used.
Most of us dead from climate change and famine. The rest slaves for the corpos, tend their fields and robot repair facilities or die.
There is this third layer in my “phase 2” plan where you can set up defences in outpost regions and get an income from them if you can defend them, and the higher the local area threat the more often it needs defence, so it encourages you to be quiet in the associated raid map, more noise means it draws them in and threat level increases for next raid, strategy layer also gives you ways to get around it a little, like sending a team into the forest and letting off some fireworks, or destroying things in the raid itself that are causing them to gather.
Trying to keep the scope creep… if not contained, then sliced off into phases. Paying rent will start to become an issue if I don’t get a v1 out the door on time 😔
Ah, yeah a lot of my past projects went that way. Just spent 2 months getting a ping pong shader system to work so you can have map level fog of war with a vision cone. Easy for a computer shader but mobile doesn’t have good support apparently.
Road system is an achievement though, might be able to spin just that and a little more into a little game, like mini metro etc?
Some days I’m amazed how much I can get done but it’s cancelled out by things that I thought would be quick and take weeks!
After seeing Dreamcatcher, not a fan.
