Not everyone must make their bed. Making their bed is positive for some. “There are no rules”
I disagree. Every person on this earth deserves happiness, and to avoid suffering. They also deserve kindnesa. That, however, does NOT mean they can do whatever they want. “Hey fascist, you do not get to tell people that kindness is bad” is not an unkind statement. You can have boundaries while still being kind. I really don’t believe we’re ever going to win the fight against fascism with more hate. Hate breeds hates. Kill them with kinds is a saying for a reason. If you tell a hateful person that you love them in spite of their hate, they don’t know what to do. They want people to hurt because they are hurt. If you accept their hurt, they will stop trying to hurt you (disclaimer this isn’t always black and white for each individual person, this is a philosophy that applies to humanity)
I just want you to know, I know what you’re referencing
Humans are just nurons, we don’t “understand either” until so many stack on top of each other than we have a sort of consciousness. The it seems like we CAN understand but do we? Or are we just a bunch of meat computers? Also, llms handle language or correlations of words, don’t humans just do that (with maybe body language too) but we’re all just communicating. If llms can communicate isn’t that enough conceptually to do anything? If llms can program and talk to other llms what can’t they do?
This is a perspective I didn’t realize. I only used Plex for a short while before switching to Jellyfin, but I didn’t know Plex handled server connection like this (I think I setup direct connections from the beginning but it’s been a while).
Thanks for the info!
How exactly are you aquiring a folder full of media without technical know how in the first place? (Genuine question?)
I suppose having Plex handle users is easier than creating an account but barely imo.
Not shitting on Plex either, gotta do what you want I think the problems with this kind of thing is the change, people had a free service for years and now they have to change or pay. People hate change, lol
It has felt GREAT at lemmy. Lot of content and great discussions. We don’t NEED more people. Yes, more people bring more diversity and that will help a lot. The one downside for lemmy is that it doesn’t have all the niche groups that reddit does but that takea time. Lemmy is maturing amazingly imo.
Well b is definitely false, so I’m hoping they meant a
I know this might not have been the intent of the post, but this is super fucking helpful. I’ve been using blender and Unity and didn’t understand why I was getting confused around grid cords, it’s cuz I didn’t realize the orientation changed (I just move the arrows around mostly, just a noob). By any chance is there anyway to change the orientation? Hopefully?
Naw he just used this computerize tests that give him a number and if that number is higher than a certain level, he says it’s apendisitis.
