Im a trans lesbian & its absolutely ok! Despite my understanding of my gender changing a lot, my sexuality stayed almost the exact same before & after coming out.

I highly recommend looking into a supportive therapist to talk things through & figure out how you want to handle your feelings & possible transition. One thing I’ll say for sure is that I thought it would ruin my life too, but I’m happier than ever & the people that showed up for me when I came out are closer to me than ever. Felt like I could finally breathe again when I started transitioning

He did such a wonderful job as Bernadette in Priscilla, Queen of the Desert. For a 90s movie featuring a trans woman played by a cis man I was worried about it coming off badly when I first watched it, but it was anything but. He played Bernadette elegantly, with class & sass, & a real dimension of empathy.

Model replacement, voice acting update (uses line stitching for existing npc voices - I didn’t notice anything that drew me out of it), and a fully voiced protagonist. She does a great job! Voice Showcase

Trans gal here! For a time I identified similarly to your last paragraph. I wasn’t sure what I was was, but I didn’t feel particularly male or female. I told people I was nonbinary because I wasn’t sure where I was in that mix for a more specific label.

Eventually I realized that I aligned as more of a tomboy in fashion, but my identity felt firmly female despite my shifts in expression. That was my journey, wishing you luck on finding yourself!

Definitely haha, the book uses footnotes at times to try and distinguish between the cyberpunk fiction & real-world incarceration practices since the two overlap so much

Chain-Gang All-Stars is really good! It’s closer to modern day reality than far future cyberpunk, but still interesting dystopian sci-fi.

The premise centers around televised nation-wide gladiator battles where incarcerated people fight to the death for their freedom. The book has some razor sharp commentary on the US prison system as well as reality TV and profiting off of vulnerable groups.

The animation quality dip this season has been especially noticeable, hell they have a couple scenes where it’s static talking for several minutes (looking at you pancake scene) and nobody’s moving. It’s been that way since the beginning, but it’s getting really old after seeing what shows like X-Men 97 can pull off.

Yeah my mom especially has a hard time accepting that people with chronic illness didn’t do anything morally wrong or right to get their condition. Like if only they ate better, or exercised more, they wouldn’t have insert any illness & neurodivergence here

I still think there are so many adults out there that wholeheartedly believe in the Just World Fallacy. It’s honestly baffling how many people have a hard time accepting that things just happen to people without any moral value being assigned to them.
