Calling whatever people do with their flags “dumb” is bad, uncalled for, and in bad taste. Calling motherfucher who dun it “motherfucher” is ok, citizenry, and possibly even praxis

Иисправительно-трудовые лагерея (ЛАГ in GULAG) are specifically, namely, explicitly concentration camps that used forced labour to kill people. It’s very distinct from the regular prison system, which used inhuman conditions to kill people at lower rates.

On one hand, I support your right to waste your time on your gay little rants, but being rude to other people isn’t exactly great.

Hitman technically has offline mode, and it’s even playable as a game. The fact that it doesn’t have that part that makes it so interesting isn’t actually addressed.

The problem with that, is that if you include everything “small” in the definition, the word loses all it’s meaning, feeble as it is already.
The word microplastic was introduced to describe not just any small piece of trash, but specifically that very small, invisible, pieces of plastics that are, as it turned out, everywhere, in the air, in the water, in our food, in our blood, even in space. If you add just small pieces of rubbish to it, we remove all the sense from the word, and will need another one.
Nalivai@discuss.tchncs.deto Showerthoughts@lemmy.world•Microplastics will be the "boomers all have lead poisoning" of millennialsEnglish23·3 months agoThat’s the neat thing: nobody can. It’s incredibly hard to devise a study that can show anything about it. There is no way to get a human without microplastics in them to get a control group, and by this point as far as I know there is no plausible theory to get a specific study.
Everyone kinda suspects that it can’t be good for you, simultaneously there is zero actual evidence that something is ever happening. We don’t know, and that’s very frustrating.
You don’t even need that, they’re perfectly capable of fucking up on their own.
Back in my days it was called sales pitch, or an ad. Granted, I didn’t read very deep into it because I’m allergic to ads and the language like that makes me irrationally angry, but after my very brief glance and short clicking through links, I didn’t find any links to anything but another ads, endless paragraphs of ads no doubt generated by the same program they’re trying to sell.
