Okay, I agree. I reflected on my original statement today and changed my opinion after talking about it with my peers in the real-world.
In all honesty, let them have it. Let them out themselves, let them put it on record. Let them burn themselves for the future.
You know, being neuro-stable(?) is becoming increasingly more difficult. I’m starting to more fully understand my neuro spicy brothers and sisters. The anxiety isn’t in your head. And I’m here for you.
This just reminds me of recipes that are like “how to make homemade soft pretzel. step 1, buy pretzel dough”. I get that some boxed mixes are just pre measured ingredients, so why not learn the ratios and make them yourself?

Yeah. I struggled with the cringy romance sections. Very much a freshman entry. But the series as a whole does work well. The Dark Forest is huge improvement. it also had a different translator and has a different structure that I feel works better than the first.
Bastion had a fantastic soundtrack. I still have songs from that game in rotation. There are a few perfectly timed music queues that made each song just hit hard.

My goodness these smell so fucking good. If you see these at your local grocer, do yourself a favor and smell one.
Besides the smell, I have had little success utilizing them for flavor. Candying the rind changed the flavor to a very mild indistinct citrus. I’ve been waiting for them to come back into season to try making an oleo saccharum. But I don’t suspect the oil content to be very high. They few I’ve experimented with have had a very dry peel.
Honestly their cost isn’t worth it. Just get a hit of that smell while browsing produce. That’s the best they have to offer.
