Any/all pronouns. Lazy agender transfem, also asexual and panromantic(? Or maybe aromantic, basically I’m a mess but I’m trying. Possibly my best, but hopefully not)

  • And that is very possible, I’d even say likely, but that is Labour’s fault and joining them and giving them your support because of the spectre of Reform is what got us to where we are now. It’s certainly a nice idea to think “yeah, we’ll join Labour and change it from the inside” but the reality is that a surge of memberships will just tell Labour that doing Reform Shit is a working strategy. Genuinely the best option is to pull away from Labour and hope they’ll turn around

  • As I said, I’m on TERF Island - Britain - so Trump isn’t especially relevant. I’m staring down the barrel of 4 more years of increasingly transphobic Labour policy followed by a likely Reform government that could go for who knows how long, which is a long time to exist under a lot of transphobia and general bigotry. Currently the EHRC is trying to publish rules that already aim to force trans people out of public life and if that then gets backed up by government policy who knows where it could end? Especially since Reform are explicitly talking about removing us from the European Convention on Human Rights and Labour are talking about “looking into” it.

  • In a role-reversal - Reform protesters being forcibly and even violently removed from any other party conference - Farage would be crying everywhere he could about freedom of speech and censorship, he’d probably go running off to Trump to whine about it and Trump in turn would probably threaten more tariffs against us. Of course no-one is obligated to listen to speech they don’t like, and no organisation is required to give speech they don’t like a platform, my point is just the blatant hypocrisy of Temu Trump and his Tory Tribute Act
