To be clear, I didn’t lose any data, ended up moving everything off the ZFS pool and went back to ext, the crashes I had just made the ZFS unavailable until I rebooted the machine.
On top of being confusing, I had my whole proxmox node crash because the ZFS pool randomly crashed out multiple times 🤷♂️
Probably due to the consumer grade nvme I was using it on but… Still why?

It’s really nice once it’s going, especially if you link them together in a compose and farm out all the individual ymls for each service, or use something like dockage to do it.
Sadly it’s my last remaining payment to Google, hard to beat yt music and yt premium in one package when I use both services so heavily.
I went with proxmox and various LXCs for either individual services or docker stacks with several things on a minimal os (I’m comfortable with Ubuntu server so that’s what I go with generally as the unpriv LXC)

I do think it comes down to not intentionally trying to be someone else, I have seen many people do that in an attempt to be more popular or w/e (particularly back in high school) sometimes it genuine and other times I’m like… Why?
For 2, there was “confusion” as during the announcement they did literally say it was yearly, then came back and said it wasn’t.

Purely legal means is the issue here, I agree it’s a problem that they’re do things like that, I just feel that if they’re going to take those routes and make it literally impossible for me to own something well… There are rather easy ways around that, and if I can directly support those who made that piece of media, I will!
