I used to work at a candy factory where most of the machines that made the packaging were from the '50’s or earlier, but had been Frankenstein’d with all sorts of modern sensors and stuff to maximize efficiency. Anyways, there was this one machine that was fascinating. It was from the 30’s I believe but all it did was make small boxes from flat paper stock and it was originally designed to be hand loaded, but they had this robot arm set up that looked like the one in the OG Jurassic Park movie that flipped the eggs basically handing it paper. The arm was controlled by a dusty ass Windows 95 PC that had one job, the robot arm program. This was like 4 years ago.

Microsoft Onedrive probably had something to do with it.

My biggest gripe with modern trucks really. Have fun putting that new refrigerator you needed in there and then getting it out once you’re home, and God forbid you put a toolbox behind the cab, you’re climbing into that bed to get every little thing you didn’t think you’d need because you can’t just get it by reaching over the side.
Oh no! They’re gonna suspend your vehicle bro.

I’ve only seen maybe a couple in person here in, let’s say the very central U.S. There are no factory produced trucks like that as far as I’m aware, these are all (very expensive, I’m sure) aftermarket or custom conversions, on top of the already $60k-100k truck.

So if you’re defending yourself or others from kidnappers (an epidemic these days), use a vehicle. At least that’s what I got out of this.

I think I seen some calculation where it said that an engine uses the same amount of fuel to start as it does to idle five minutes. I don’t know if that was average, a specific engine, or if it referred to gas or diesel though.
At least wood isn’t toxic. You gotta take the wins when you can get 'em in these times. :[
