  • Excellent observation. They chose ignorance because so many people have been so economically oppressed in America for so long, and stripped of meaningful means of controlling their own life so that they now fetishize power, of any kind, to at least experience what they perceive as ‘power’… Which to the most simple mind, is nothing more than raw authority.

The only way forward is for momentum to build on anti-billionaire sentiment. Red, Blue, shades in between. Every American is directly impacted by the active, intentional, and systematic wage suppression and wealth consolidation that has been rampant for the last 40 years in America. A fraction of a percent have gained more than they could ever hope to spend, while over 99.9% of us can’t stop working, ever. Medical care cost will rise exponentially, denials from insurance will follow, and if you manage to avoid medical issues, they’ll just keep moving the goal posts on retirement age.

20 million in your 401k? Well now the retirement age is 75, so you’ll have to pay the penalty to withdraw before then, oh and you’re in the Medicare gap… And you’re old, so that will be 10k a month for health insurance

  • It was horrible to do to people that you claim to be ‘rehabilitating’. Now it’s going to be done to whatever marginalized group is next in the list, and provided no actual challenge or resistance, that list will grow to include people in trade unions, educated professionals, entertainers, free thinkers, any type of dissenter, oh and they’ve already dog whistled their plan to ‘punish’ people who donated to the Harris campaign.

Meanwhile the Trump administration is dismantling agencies that track and fight child/human trafficking. It’s not by coincidence. The goal is that we all are essentially assets of the federal government that can be bought, sold, and/or stripped of citizenship if it becomes useful to the regime.

  • The nature of good faith politics is that you compromise to find a solution that will be beneficial for all citizens and representatives. But ultimately, American politics is about elections, which at this point, are just spending competitions.

You may get elected once on the platform of fairly taxing the ultra wealthy… But few people, if anyone will work with you unless they think it will help their chances for the next election. Considering that the ultra wealthy account for 90+% of political contributions, your fighting an uphill battle. Everyone will stonewall you and try to sink your agenda in the hopes that some rich asshole will just dump 100 mil into the campaign fund of your opponent in the next election cycle, so that another lock and step traitor holds the office.
