I’ve never liked arbitrary spell targeting restrictions. I say if you want to fire blindly around cover or into a fog cloud you should be able to. It doesn’t come up very often and because it’s easy for players to understand that they’ll have a very high chance of missing and losing the spell slot.
I instantly thought of exactly the same article. Compared to text, image generators seem much more prone to this kind of shit, just spitting society’s worst impulses back at us because that’s what its been trained to mimic via advertising.
D&D big bad who pays peasants to learn to cast message and uses them to send spam messages directly into the players’ heads
historically accurate Ariel where she’s just a dolphin
“lesbians are accused in 100% of space crimes” is a much less fun statistic.
They did figure out the earth was round and measure its size with sticks and shadows though, so that’s pretty cool.

The original PlayStation 5, colloquially referred to now as the PlayStation 5 Fat, was equipped with 825GB of internal storage, of which approximately 650GB was accessible to the user, depending on system updates and other variables. The shift to the PlayStation 5 Slim introduced numerous enhancements, including an increase to 1TB of storage, providing the user with approximately 850GB of available space (subject to similar factors).
The CFI-2116 revision, also known as “Chassis E,” marks the return of the 825GB SSD, which Sony advertises on the new packaging. Consumers are losing close to 200GB, or 24%, of usable, high-speed storage with the latest revision. You could argue that 200GB isn’t a lot, and that’s true in a way since some AAA titles — specifically, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War — are pushing over 300GB of installed size. But under normal circumstances, 200GB should be enough for one or two games.
Seems like Sony has a bunch of 825GB hard drives sitting around to me.
The only kvetching I remember was about “defund the police” as a slogan, not as an objective. And the people complaining about it were the ones who managed to convince half of Americans that the police actually got defunded even though that didn’t happen.
Mamdani’s unwillingness to stand firm against the nypd, whether because he believes it’s necessary to win the election or because it reflects his actual beliefs, has definitely been the most disappointing and annoying thing about him so far. Like you’ve gotta have better political instincts than this, bud - the NYPD aren’t popular AND you’re making yourself look wishy washy.

Instead of downvotes, we have many, many disapproving emotes.
Snow White failed where other Disney remakes didn’t because the original Snow White is not currently a nostalgic touchstone the way the Disney Renaissance films are.
It’s not about the bad writing. Every single Disney remake has had bad writing.
It’s not about bad effects. Every single Disney remake has had bad effects.
It’s not about the culture war outrage. Every single Disney remake has had culture war outrage.
The difference lies purely in the age and cultural relevance of the Snow White IP. The other live action remakes have all been driven by Millennial parents taking their kids to see them, but Millennial parents just don’t give a shit about Snow White. It was ancient when they were kids, expecting them to want to see it is like expecting them to want to see a reboot of Betty Boop or Felix the Cat.
Snow White is a film so irrelevant that 99% of people can’t name the villain. You might have just said “Maleficent” at your screen but you’re wrong - she’s the villain in Sleeping Beauty, the villain in Snow White is “Queen Grimhilde”. Could you even articulate the difference in plot between those two films? I would wager that must people can’t.
Imagining a world where Nancy Pelosi was using her insider trading money to fund Maoist rebels in the Appalacians.
On the one hand I agree that some dressing rules in schools and working places are fine - but on the other you have to be willfully ignorant if you can’t see the blatant Islamophobia at play with targeting religious head coverings like this. Note how they always go after niqabs, but never dastars. Dressing rules at school should be about teaching kids what’s expected in polite society, and polite society should make room for cultural expression.
being bi is equivalent to eating babies
might want to rethink your example there
I always appreciate it when the test has a question or two like this sprinkled in (and if the teacher did it by accident, all the funnier)
I’m a fan of this banger myself
Yeah I was thinking about that, which is why I pointed out that Apple’s plan only worked because of the massive growth in personal computing. Google was able to create marketshare for Android during the massive growth in smartphones, but those conditions haven’t existed for anyone for a while.
Generally how these things go is that after the growth phase comes consolidation and monopoly - we’re far more likely to see Apple and MS merge into one corporation than we are to see a third option emerge as a serious competitor.
Renewables make so much sense for a poor country, the only barrier is and has been initial setup cost - but a ton of solar panels, over their thirty year lifespan, will be much cheaper and far more reliable than an equivalent amount of coal or gas in generators.
