CasaOS in a similar vein. Casa is just an app that can be installed on Linux though.
When I started, I wanted something to obfuscate all the Dockishness because I didn’t get it and just wanted to get going. It helped me get familiar with common Docker things and while I’m very far from being any sort of expert, I’m comfortable enough in a compose file now.
I still have Casa running, though I rely on it less and less. At some point maybe I’ll move everything out.
What the heck…suddenly working?
post from Interstellar
Post from Blorp.
Yeah. I’m also not able to comment from Interstellar, though it doesn’t show the threads as locked.
Posting this from Summit, which seems to be working well.
You can move files to new folders with Mp3Tag, too. It’s normally all I use for managing my files and metadata.
Alright, I’ve passively listened to one or two albums before, but not really dived in. With such a large and eclectic discography, what are some recommended starting points?
Haven’t yet at 50!
I’m in camp #2. Only my Gmail address can access my apps from outside my home. It’s a little bit of a pain to configure the rules, but once it’s done it’s done. I’ve been happy with it.
You do need to have a domain name though.
I read Snow Crash last year and it was one of the worst slogs I’ve ever endured. I get that people like Stephenson, but definitely not for me.
And I read the other day that “buy now pay later” loans will be hitting your credit report now, so I’m sure this will definitely help make America great again. What could go wrong?
If you haven’t yet, watch Long Time Running. And then listen to Long Time Running with your heart breaking over and over and over again.
It also isn’t an operating system. It’s an application that you install on an existing OS.
Could the company decide to lock it to only their hardware? Probably. Could they take money in exchange for preferred listings? Yup.
And if it gets shitty, like OP said, it is just a layer on top of Docker. You can leave it.
CasaOS was key in easing me into the world of Docker. I understand general use enough to be comfortable installing without Casa and jumping into compose files and such. But I’ll still check out the store for apps sometimes just for ease of use.
Whole post is just a rant against something that OP apparently doesn’t know anything about.
I really didn’t think I was going to like a minimal launcher after so many years with Nova and then AIO, but OLauncher really clicked for me.
Since then, I upgraded to ProLauncher, which mostly adds shortcut icons on the right (I believe that’s what I upgraded for anyway). It’s been great.
I was going to make a snarky comment until I read the article. I visited AG infrequently, but considered it a solid place when I was looking for new games or info about a game. That really sucks the way it played out.
Idiocracy - My 18yo was turned off by the repeated use of F and R slurs even when I tried to explain the movie to her. She left.
Rise of the Planet of the Apes - I had no interest in another reboot, but finally gave it a shot. It was really good. Looking forward to watching the rest.
Raiders of the Lost Ark - Well…I had it on while I was sick this weekend so I more listened to bits as a drifted in and out of sleep. Woke up in time for the finale though, and that shit is still awesome.
Renegades - Keifer Sutherland and Lou Diamond Phillips. It was alright. Highlight was the hilariously reactive flinching of a dead woman as shots were fired.
Empire Strikes Back - I mean…it was May 4th. Watched the 4K80 edition and didn’t miss any of the digital edits from later versions.
Once upon a time. But my understanding of this:

Is that so long as you don’t use their CDN for your content, which is where the bypass cache rule comes in, you’re okay.
Aaaaand I’m out. I get what you were going for, but I can’t keep reading after that.
