I think your wife wins the dinner thread today. That’s looks very pro and tasty.

Recently went with just tree mulch (was about $45 a m^3). Avoided the really cheap stuff or $$ dyed stuff. Really piled it on the problem areas (8-10 cm thick) and so far so good.

Saves so much time weeding. Definitely worth going overboard with it.

Beer battered calamari. Double fried, double coronary.

Prawn gyoza with a back up kransky just in case.

BLT for me.

Tacos for me.

I think chucking a bay leaf or 2 in when cooking (maybe not for the full 4 hrs, gotta pull it out) gives it something extra.

Tonight is spag w/ a rando tomato based sauce w/ a snag and a cheese kransky.

Grilled fish (snapper) with salad for me.

Been ages since a simple fish thing.

Didn’t make it to the beach but had some company:

South melbourne dim sims at the beach for me. Lotsa chilli in the soy sauce.
