I’ve always kinda sucked at relationships and honestly don’t need to be in one. I stopped trying years ago and basically have zero interest. I’m pretty weird, and I know my own red flags. If I were a used car I’d not even recommend a test drive in that death trap.

Seriously though, I needed to learn to be myself by myself. Now I know who I am, and finding anyone that would put up with my brand of crazy is a fool’s errend, so I’m not gonna put in work on a futile task like that.

The only smart thing I’d want an oven to do would be to turn itself off. That’s it, really. Did I leave the oven on after I left the house? Easy fix. Otherwise everything else is pretty much useless.

I recently took some college classes and they had us run our papers through gramarly to check for errors and to help our writing.

I hated it. It took the voice of your writing out almost completely and every sentence was weighted to be written like a standard textbook. Sure, all the same information was there, but when the ai said it was good… It sounded like it was just written by ai in the first place. Making it happy was worse than writing the paper in the first place since the grammar portion of the grading was simply ‘run it through ai and mark down for any errors it picks up’.

I’m dubious of the recycling claim. The partially cured resin is dissolved in some secret solvent. Usually when you dissolve something in a solvent, the intention isn’t to recover the dissolved resin. They didn’t really discuss the recovery process, leading me to think it’s theoretically possible, but nobody will practically do it.

Still, dissolveable supports with a single resin mix is pretty cool.

This was my entire technique for when i was studying for a test. I would do the practice test, then read through whatever I got incorrect and had to be able to explain fully what the correct answer was, why, and what made the other answers wrong.

Made the tests a breeze and my oral exam later cake.

Because I could explain it. I knew what i was talking about.

Market self regulation assumes informed consumers that are smart enough to know what things mean. Also it assumes healthy competition and companies that are competing to make the best product at the chrapest price. It ALSO assumes brand lotalty isn’t a thing, and consumers are judging things purely objectively.

Like, i understand the idea, but in practice there are a ton of caveats.

See- this is a problem. Illegal immigration means one thing, but people hear it and think of a family speaking spanish in the grocery store and assume them to be what ‘illegal immigrants’ are. People just ascribe anything vagely unknown to them as ‘illegal immigrants’ and want it gone not realizing that most of the time the people they are imagining are here legally. It’s still racism but with a technically safe cover word, but many are hearing one thing and thinking another.

So when everyone is talking about illegal immigrants they could mean completely different things depending on who you talk to.
