When the bubble pops or deflates, it’d be lowkey funny to see them go : “Heyyyy ! Remember me ? Good old Crucial ? I’m back on the consumer market !”

This feature is completely optional and is never turned on by default.
So far…

In SOME cases, it is cheaper than on prem. If you need a lot of compute power occasionally, it can be cheaper. If you actually scale up and down according to the load (which a lot of companies do not do), it might be cheaper. But a large amount of companies don’t fall in those cases or don’t do it efficiently. Some spend in a year the same amount they would have paid for on prem servers they would have kept 5 years or more.
Cloud providers offer other things like multi regional redundancy, which can be hard to achieve for smaller businesses.

Could Fairphone count as a “Major” Android OEM ?
They do use snapdragon chips, are priced roughly the same as the pixels, and might align the most with a project like Graphene and its values ?
One can dream…

I ended up going with Crowdsec.
The setup was a bit of a challenge as I like to do it the RTFM way abd that there is a bunch of concepts to grasp before you really understand what you are doing, but since then it’s been working pretty great ! And it’s free (as in you are providing them with data on the occurence of threats etc, so you don’t pay)

TIL : The bluesky ecosystem is called Atmosphere.

The sheer size of them lookers, damn.

I’m properly in awe at this project. Not only does it support a wide range of protocols and runs practically everywhere, but it can play audio, video, display images and has keyboard shortcut support ???
It’s got everything I could think about and so much more.
I can’t wait to try it out !
Thank you so much for your time and for making this open source.

Your question is probably rethorical but I feel the need to put it out there : It’s because it’s been advertised as such. LLMs are not advertised as language based AI but as something “intelligent” with “reasoning” abilities, which they inherently do not have.
But that’s not what most people were told. For a large amount of them, LLMs can “think” and should be able to solve problems, such as chess…
Why would you make two generations the same colors when you could have use any other color or distinguish them with the style of the line 💀

Some of them bricked high end cards at some point didn’t they ?

Purely for educational purpose: how should a molotov be thrown ?
Why is a overhead thow a bad thing ?

I find this baffeling. Multiple people, on different topics did disagree with his campaigns promises, and voted for him against their best interest. (Farmers for exemple) Their justification ? “He won’t do it”. Are you telling me you are voting for someone who promises to do things, in the hope that he does all the other things but the one that would negatively impact you ? REALLY ?!
Beside the fact that some software are STILL not supporting it, what do people have against webp ?
This is the right way to read this
I’d think these people probably make up a single number digit of the amount of games bought and never played.
It would be interesting to have a breakdown of which games werr bought and never played. How many of them were gifts ? What’s the share by rating ? Even better : When were the copies the most bought but never played ? This could bring up some interesting partterns.
Indeed very cool, but also quite disturbing the more you learn about less common wasps…

Probably read my comment a little fast but that’s okay. This fucking sucks, I hope we get out of this chat control nonsense at some point, otherwise decentralised and self hosted services and messaging apps will have to be the way to go.

So, not in favor of privacy… Fucking amazing…
Excuse my lack of culture, but what’s the BOB on the graph before 98 ?
