Got to say he might underestimate the cult classic relevance of the original Clash of the Titans. Also he says it didn’t do that well but for 1981 70 million box office and something like close to 10 times it’s budget is pretty damn successful.
On the other hand I had no idea they made A second new Clash of the Titans movie. Totally unaware of that. It must have done so badly.
Certainly. While I don’t think I ever saw the original movie all the way through, that mechanical owl is a core memory of mine.
